A philosophical zombie is a hypothetical subject functionally and behaviorally indistinguishable from a human and able to describe experiences correctly, yet lacking conscious experience (qualia). In the Post-Ego frame this distinction is needed so we do not confuse a correct description of a phenomenon with actual experiencing: a zombie may talk about presence and even reproduce its language without having that from which experience is lived.
