A 1st-level imprint is a particular kind of imprint: a fixed bodily-emotional reaction that arose as a result of a specific experience and was fixed at the level of perceptual submodalities (tension, contraction, impulse, avoidance, etc.), manifesting as an automatic reaction to certain triggers, but not determining the way of living one’s life as a whole.
